Grandpa and grandma are very nice people.
Grandpa and grandma are very nice people. Grandpa could pick you up from Seoul train station free of charge. Grandma provides your breakfast everyday with different type of local Korean food. The taste is very delicious. Our family is really enjoying stay at their apartment.

What was the highlight of Chungjeong-no Samsung Homestay
Authentic Korean experience staying with older couple
Had a pretty unique experience staying with an older couple in the center of Seoul. The grandpa (that how he suggested I address him, apparently, to make it easier) was very friendly and accommodating. Despite the language barrier, I saw how he put enormous effort into communication. In the end, we were able to communicate just fine. He picked me up at the train station and drove me to the apartment, although it's a quick 5-7 min walk. The grandma cooked authentic Korean breakfast in the morning. So much that I couldn't finish. Also, they like it hot n spicy! Which I was aware of. Speaking about food, I had fantastic dumplings from a shop right around the corner, there are literally clouds of steam coming out of there, impossible to miss it. The bed was comfortable enough. The shower good enough. The place is very conveniently located close to the train station and walkable distance to city center. Overall, I'm glad I had this experience, felt super authentic. Yes, you have less privacy compared to a hotel room but way more emotions and memories after staying with this couple.

Friendly hosts in central Seoul with great breakfast
The owners are very nice & friendly although they only speak a little bit of English. They will pick you up at the Seoul Station if you want to, and they even offered to bring me back to the Station when I left. The breakfast was really great, a Korean breakfast prepared by the owner. I could also leave my luggage for some extra hours after I've checked out. The area is very quiet.
The bed was a little bit too hard, but for a one night stay it was fine. The bathroom, and the living room / kitchen are shared with the other guests and the owner.
